In 2006 I had mitral valve repair and was told it would need to be redone in around 13 years. I've lived a pretty healthy lifestyle and was able to prolong that by a bit but now it's 2026 and 20 years since my last heart surgery and I'm finding myself having severe palpitations again and was told my heart valve leak is back. Due to unforeseen circumstances my career changed and my insurance is not so great so I'm desperately seeking any help with funds to allow me to get the next surgery and have recovery time without too much panic about finances since I no longer have STD or LTD and will not be able to stay a lot of bills AND have my heart surgery.
