This fundraiser is for the benefit of Tammy Morris my sister in law. Tammy is just a year older than me, and she found out in December that she has stage four throat cancer. For the past three months her sister Rhonda, my wife, has been visiting doctor and helping Tammy get through the steps necessary to get disability and SSI and filling out hundreds of forms and applications to get her treatment started.  She stared radiation treatment this week, and it happens five days a week and chemotherapy once a week. She will not be able to go back to work until after a month or more after treatment, and Social Security disability does not start until June. SSI starts in April, and will cover her rent. 
 

Rhonda and I will provide shelter and food at our home for Tammy and Baby, her cat, but we welcome donations to help cover the costs of transportation back and forth from the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, which is about an hour away, and also with miscellaneous expenses to help Tammy bear with the discomfort and effects of radiation and chemotherapy.
