Help Us Lift Up John Carter
If you know my brother John, you know he’s the quiet backbone of our family. He’s the man who shows up early, stays late, and never asks for recognition. A devoted husband and father, John has spent his life working hard to provide, protect, and love—without ever expecting anything in return.
Two weeks ago, everything changed.
While working to support his family, John fell 18 feet. In an instant, his body was shattered—his spine, leg, ankle, and foot fractured in ways that made even the surgeons pause. He was rushed to the hospital, spent time in the ICU, and has since endured multiple surgeries to repair his lower limbs. Most recently, he underwent a spinal fusion from L4 to T11. He’s now under the care of a neurosurgeon, and the road ahead is long, uncertain, and steep.
We’ve watched him lie in a hospital bed, unable to move, fighting through pain that would break most people. We’ve held his hand through the tears, whispered prayers over his body, and seen him muster a smile for his kids—even when he could barely speak.
His wife has been by his side every day, sleeping in chairs, holding his hand through every procedure. His children—too young to understand the full weight of what’s happening—keep asking when Daddy will come home. And John, even in the darkest moments, keeps saying, “I’m okay. I have faith.”
That’s who he is.
But now, he needs us.
We’re asking for help—not just for medical bills, but for the everyday things that keep a family going when their world has been turned upside down. Groceries. Gas. Rent. Hope.
If you can give, please do. If you can’t, please share this and lift John up in prayer. Every act of kindness is a light in this darkness.
Thank you for loving our brother. Thank you for standing with us.
We‘re raising funds to help cover:
• Medical bills and ongoing rehabilitation
• Household expenses and lost income
• Travel and lodging for his wife during his hospital stay
• Support for his children during this uncertain time
John’s faith remains strong, and we’re holding onto hope. If you’re able to give, we’re deeply grateful. If not, please share and keep John in your prayers.
