A Father’s Fight for His Daughter
I’ve always been a private person—for reasons many of you will understand. Out of respect for my marriage and a deep desire to protect my family above all, I’ve kept our marital difficulties to myself. I don’t like burdening others, and through it all, I’ve clung to hope for reconciliation and healing. But things have gone from bad to worse, and now I must share what I never wanted to: I have less than 30 days to appeal a court’s unjust decision, or I may lose the chance to see my precious 4-year-old princess for 2 years. Nothing matters more to me than my children, and the depth of this loss is beyond words. She is my world, just as your children are yours. In this desperate moment, I’m turning to you for help in raising funds for an attorney. I’ll do anything to fight for her and reunite our family.
On July 25, 2025, my life changed forever after a devastating fall that left me with severe fractures in my back, nearly paralyzing me and requiring the fusion of six vertebrae. I also suffered over 25 fractures in my ankle and foot area, including breaks in my tibia and fibula, plus a burst fracture at L2 and the end of my fibula. The injuries needed extensive hardware and 75 staples along my spine, with complications so severe—including the threat of foot amputation and organ swelling—that recovery has been an uphill battle. Since that day, I’ve been unable to work, relying on ongoing rehabilitation as I fight daily to regain my strength, mobility, and independence.
This is the timeline of how vulnerable I was left: By October 7, still on crutches with no car and no income, my wife abruptly left for Florida with our daughter, breaking our vows of “in sickness and in health” at my lowest point—I haven’t seen my little girl since. I went to my family’s for Thanksgiving to find support, but upon returning, I discovered a restraining order against me, barring me from our home or even picking up our dog from the kennel where she’d been boarded.
Then, on December 22, a domestic violence injunction was granted against me for two years in Polk County, Florida. There has never been any incident of violence. The injunction was based solely on testimony from my wife and her sister—stories that were clearly exaggerated and fictitious—with no physical evidence, police reports, medical records, or corroborating documentation presented.
There were so many people willing to testify to the truth—including our pastor, our counselor, and even my wife’s own sister and husband, as well as others who were ready to testify on my behalf—but their voices were not taken into consideration due to not being witnesses to the alleged events that never in fact took place. Throughout this painful ordeal, I’ve come to understand that my wife has been grappling with significant mental health challenges, including anxiety and suspicion amplified by her medication and influenced by those around her who may unintentionally reinforce these struggles. I share this not to cast blame or diminish her—far from it—but with compassion, as it helps explain the circumstances that led us here, and underscores my hope for healing and truth for our family’s sake.
Without income since my accident, I had no resources for legal counsel and mistakenly represented myself, unprepared for the complexities of family court. This is not about attacking anyone—it’s about due process, fairness, and a father’s right to be heard. I’m seeking funds to retain an experienced attorney to appeal and pursue reunification with my daughter.
Whether you know me or not, I earnestly ask you to open your heart to the story of a dedicated father unjustly torn from his 4-year-old daughter—a pain no parent should endure, one that might resonate with your own experiences of love, loss, or the fierce drive to protect family. Your generosity, even from afar, could be the key to restoring our bond and proving the truth. And if I’ve ever made a positive impact in your life—as a friend, colleague, or acquaintance—please donate even just a dollar and leave a comment sharing your stories of who I truly am: a kind, devoted man who lives for his family, countering the false narrative with the real me that so many know and cherish. Every little bit helps bring me closer to affording an attorney for this appeal. Your prayers, encouragements, and support mean more than I can express. Finally, I urge you to share this as widely as possible—the more people see it, the better my chance of meeting my goal and holding my little girl again. To maximize exposure and traction, please interact with this post by liking, commenting, sharing, or reposting it—every engagement helps the algorithm spread my story further and brings me closer to reuniting with my daughter. If you’re on other platforms like Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, or beyond, consider reposting there too to reach even more hearts and amplify this cause. Thank you from the depths of my soul.
