My husband Tom and our fog Parker are pictured. About 8 months ago Tom began feeling extremely exhausted after work and would come home, eat and go straight to bed. Being concerned I watched him lose weight and a general feeling of being not quite right. Parker stayed by Tom no matter where he was, he began sleeping with him and we noticed how Parker would smell Tom all over except his legs. This got more intense as time went on. He'd bark at Tom's armpits and neck. The next day we went to our family doctor who sent us immediately to the ER. Within 2 hours of tests they told us Tom had Hodgkin's Lymphoma at stage 4. Devastated to say the least, things moved fast. Put him in another hospital and he began treating with chemotherapy. That was November 1st and he has not gotten a paycheck or anything since. A proud man and a great worker, husband and father he asked me to put this out there. We're trying to get by with every bit of help from friends but this is bigger, daily necessities are adding up and we're falling in that big hole. If you could find it in your heart to give anything, we and Parker would greatly appreciate it. I honestly think he knew Tom was sick..
