Help Tracy, Jeremiah & The Walters Compound Recover from the Anderson Floods
Tracy and Jeremiah Walters have spent years putting others first. As the founders of Turn Away No Longer (TANL), they created a safe house where children entering the foster care system can stay until DCS finds them a placement, along with outreach programs like Swag Packs and Katie’s Boutique. Their entire lives have been built around helping kids and families in crisis.
Now the tables have turned. Recent flooding in Anderson, Indiana devastated their home and the homes of several family members who live on the same street—lovingly known as “The Walters Compound.” None of them had flood insurance. They are facing the urgent costs of temporary shelter, mold remediation, and essential repairs just to make their houses livable again.
We’re asking you to help the people who have spent so much of their lives helping others. Please donate whatever you can, and share this post so it reaches more people who can support them.
We’ve chosen Give a Hand as our fundraising platform because they don’t charge fees the way many other platforms do—every dollar you give goes directly to Tracy, Jeremiah, and their family.
Thank you for standing with the Walters family the way they have stood with so many others.
Please donate to comment.
