​As many of you know, I am a hardworking, self-employed mother doing everything I can to provide for my children and build a stable future. Lately, I’ve hit a significant roadblock: I am currently without reliable transportation.

​Living in an area where a vehicle is a necessity—not a luxury—this loss has impacted every corner of our lives.

​Why This Matters

​My car is more than just a way to get from point A to point B; it is the engine that keeps my family running. Without it:

• ​Work is at risk: My livelihood depends on my ability to travel for my property maintenance and cleaning jobs. Missing work means missing the income needed for rent and essentials.
