Hey everyone,

We’re Rhasheeda and Kyesha, and we’ve been through a lot together. We met back in 9th grade, and ever since then, we’ve been like two peas in a pod. Life hasn’t been easy, but we’ve always stuck together and pushed through.

We live in narcissistic households, and it’s been really hard. But in the middle of all the chaos, we found peace by becoming reborn Christians. We joined a church, and singing in the choir has been one of the best things that’s ever happened to us. The only problem is, after feeling that peace, we have to come back home to so much negativity, all while trying to balance college. It’s a lot to handle. We have so many stories; we could probably talk for a year straight and still not be done.

We’re still in college, working towards our pre-nursing majors. We’ve been searching for jobs for months, but it feels like so many managers and bosses just pick and choose who they want. We’re not doing horribly, but it’s tough. God’s been keeping us strong, but we know it’s time to make a move and get away from these toxic environments.

That’s why we’re setting up this fundraiser. We’re planning to get away next year, move to another state, find jobs, and work on building a stable foundation until we’re ready to go to nursing school and achieve our dreams. We’re asking for your help to make this happen. Any amount you can give will be a huge blessing, and we’ll appreciate it more than words can say.
