I am a single mom of 4 with no support. I do not receive cash assistance or child support. My main source of income is from deliveries for Instacart. Recently my vehicle broke down and I do not have the money to get it fixed which has caused a rapid downward spiral. My kids rely solely on me and there is no transportation provided because we live within 2 miles from the school. To make any money and get my children to and from school, sports and other activities I have to rent a Zipcar. The money I make from doing deliveries only covers the cost of the rental if I’m lucky. This has got me behind on my bills. This couldn’t have happened at a worse time of the year. It has been so cold trying to force my children to walk to school or anywhere feels cruel. The thought of the holidays rapidly approaching causes paralyzing anxiety. The only gifts my kids receive are what I am able to give them we have no family. At this time I literally do not have even one gift for any of them. I usually am able to navigate myself out of situations but this time I feel like I am falling deeper and deeper in the hole. No matter what I try things are just not getting better and each day that passes I get further be hind. I don’t know how to fix this without asking for help which I avoid when ever possible. Anything would be greatly appreciated. Please help me get back on track
