After my last medical mission trip to Honduras, it was placed on my heart to raise money to buy ventilators for a hospital we visited in Choluteca. With only 3 functioning ventilators left for the entire hospital, medical care providers are faced with hard decisions… who gets the ventilator, and who does not. As a healthcare provider myself, this should not have to be a decision to be made, not with access to resources here in the U.S. So, I am raising money to purchase 5 ventilators to bring back with me when I return to Honduras in November.
