About this fundraiser

In the last few weeks of my father's life, he needed 24-hour care. He was already on hospice services and he did not want to be moved. The choice we had as a family was to take care of him during the day and have caregivers in the evening. At the time we thought this would be for two weeks and we were able to pay that amount of $8,000.00. He ended up living for another month and the cost added up to over $20,000. It was nice having more time with him but now we need help paying the remaining balance.  I signed off on providing the care, so am financially responsible and do not have the funds.

My father touched many people's lives as a ministry, and community outreach advocate.  He had the honor of attending Boston University and meeting Martin Luther King Jr. He also established the first Habitat for Humanity house on the West Coast. He was a very kind loving man and was luckily able to pass away in his home with loved ones around him. If you want to know more about him, please visit this site. https://www.rosecityfuneralhome.com/obituary/RevRobert-McNeil

Your help would be greatly appreciated. I signed off on providing the care, so am financially responsible and do not have the funds.  The rest of the family members are on fixed incomes.
