It is with shattered hearts and extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Islane Thomas.

Lavett as she was well known to many  was a bright spark in this world and will be deeply missed. She touched the lives of so many. Islane Thomas suddenly passed away on March 5, 2025. She was a loving and loyal mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend to so many. She leaves behind her pride and joy, 2 beautiful children Kyron and Zaqurus.

She was taken from us suddenly, and the household is financially unprepared due to legal setbacks for the expenses that lie ahead, which include not only Islane's wake and memorial but also the care for 2 sons, her eldest was completely dependent on his mom, and her high school senior who is set to graduate and committed to attending Kent State University this coming fall. 

We are working with the funeral home, to have memorial service March 19, 2025. This is to offset the costs of the funeral, and basic care/maintenance of the children of my beloved auntie, Islane Thomas. The family is truly devastated at this sudden and unexpected loss of a a phenomenal woman.
