    ( Update 4/25 7am )

    Glory to God.

    Yahweh, the self-existent one.
    Adonai, the Lord over all.
    Yahweh-Roni, the shepherd.
    Yahweh-Shammah, the present one.
    Yahweh-Rapha, the healer.
Yahweh-Nissi, the Lord our banner in battle.
    Yahweh-Shalom, the Lord of peace.

The great and merciful God who has kept us near to him. Our family has learned how to pray, how to believe, how to confess, how to rest, how to battle, how to be compassionate, how to love, how to be at peace with men where possible, and how to view life correctly with an eternal perspective.

Wyatt has already done more for the Kingdom of God on Earth than I have in my entire 35 years prior. His name means 'Brave in War' or 'Strong in War', and he has surely lived up to that.

We have had many emails reporting renewals of faith, conversions to faith, and revivals throughout the body. God is so good. Let us die to ourselves and draw near to Him, believing in His eternal goodness, His desire for his Kingdom on Earth, His desire to fully redeem Wyatt's body from the snare of the evil one. Selah.

Wyatt is resting, still unconscious, but healing every day. We believe in a full recovery for the glory of God. We pray specifically for his continued healing in his lungs, for the ability to swallow, for the ability to move, for the ability to see, for his consciousness to return, for complete healing of his brain, for him to walk and testify to the Glory of God for the rest of his days, for him to fulfill the Kingdom purpose he was born for. We make no bargains, no promises, and simply believe in His perfect will for the soul of Wyatt to flourish in this world, speaking and walking for Christ's mission on Earth. Selah.

Please continue to pray daily and reach out to the body of Christ to pray. Go to local churches in your area and share the story, and Wyatt's email address ([email protected]). God hears our prayers. Our family rests in your prayers. Please do not cease to send them. Stay in the Spirit. Encourage your children to pray with you.

    With the Grace of God,
    - Kevin, Nancy, Junior, Wyatt, and Benjamin Hester

"Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door! My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience. Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord—that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.

But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your “Yes” be “Yes,” and your “No,” “No,” lest you fall into judgment.

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit."
    - James 5:9-18

On Easter weekend, Wyatt had a severe accident that resulted in a care flight to Cook's Children's Hospital in Fort Worth. We do not understand yet, but we trust in the Lord with all our hearts and submit to Him as we lament. God continues to reveal Wyatt's story, which we know will ultimately be used for His glory.

Because this sweet boy is loved by so many, the family has been covered in prayer since last weekend. We ask that you lift up Wyatt, Junior, Nancy, Kevin and our family to God continuously, praying without ceasing. We do not know what the future will hold but we are not afraid.

This experience is continuing to drive home an eternal perspective for our family. God gave His only son for the remission of our sins. A willing sacrifice. It seems unthinkable to us in the wake of our journey over the last week.

After Jesus left this earth, the Counselor, the Spirit of Truth who proceeds from the Father came to us. I have witnessed first hand the power of the Counselor over the past week, giving strength to our family as we lean on our Heavenly Father harder than we ever have before.

Romans 8:16-18 - “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”

We are creating this fundraiser to help cover Wyatt's ongoing medical care. Please continue to pray for us and if you are able, consider contributing to Wyatt's medical fund.

The email address [email protected] has been set up for people to share their prayers with the family. For now, this is the best way to encourage them. Kevin and Nancy have taken a lot of solace in reading your prayers together and over Wyatt.

As of April 13, Wyatt is still at Cook's Children's. Additional updates will be given as/when Kevin and Nancy feel appropriate and will most likely be sent from Wyatt's e-mail.
