About this fundraiser

Hi, I’m not very good at asking for help but I‘ve had to drop my pride to ask for outward help. All of our family is no longer with us today unfortunately and our sisters that are still here today are not financially able to help. My boyfriend of 9 years in which we share a 6 year old son started a venture and dream of beginning our own farm 3 years ago. Josh aka my boyfriend has farmed with his family for generations it has been in his blood since birth and long time dream to begin his own. My name is Rochelle and I did not grow up in the farming community however I took a likely to it when I met josh due to being around it I quickly realized it was my calling. Our son also farms with us, he sets pipe, and does any job for his age. He is a very hard worker. We farm all of our leased acreage from the owner by ourselves. We work 7 days a week and put a lot of sweat equity into it. However this past year we have struggled as it is an expensive field to get into and requires a large amount of money to continue operating. We are in need of a combine and a tractor in order to harvest our crops and to keep up. We bought an older combine and it gave out on us. We have 1 tractor however we’re not able to complete tasks on a timely manner and are in need of another. We are not in a position to buy these things to keep going. It would mean more than we could express to see the world come together and help us young farmers keep farming. For us to fail would completely wipe us out financially as all our money has gone towards this. It’s essential to keep food on the table and a place to live. Anyone that is able to help I ask you please to look into your heart to help us. If we have to go into debt to buy these items. Financially I know it will be the end of us. I apperciate the time you took to read this and hear some of our story. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Thank you so very much, this will mean the world to us and we can never show enough gratitude for your help.
