we do small-scale pigeon rescue & rehab operation out of our house. Pierre is a young squeaker (affectionate term for pigeons that are still too young to coo) that got his leg stuck in a bird feeder. His rescuer called us upon finding him dangling upside down. After we picked him up, we realized his leg was mangled beyond saving. He is very young and otherwise healthy, and we believe that this little trooper would make an amazing pet for someone once he recovers from this life-saving surgery. He loves getting head scratches and eating peas, and is very lively despite his injuries.
