I am doing a fundraiser for my beautiful female boxer. Who I rescued from a bad situation on Feb, 2nd 2024. The day i got her i was told that she was locked in a kennel all day but was let out when the gentleman got home from work for short periods of time, also that she had 1 set of shots since she was born as well as she was very under weight, but they fed her and she started gaining weight. She was given to me it was from the gentlemans sister who had her a month before i did due to the fact that the original owner couldn't take care of her. Nahriah turned a year old on February 7th. The day I got her she has no signs of the mass and now it is the size of a grape. Since I have gotten her i took her to the vet 3 different times. I am on a payment plan with the vets office. Currently the bill is close to $1,000. She has yet gotten that mass removed I do have a appointment on March 31st to do so. The office visit will cost $75. I was told the minimum that the surgery will cost to remove the mass will be $800. After that if it's cancer I will have to take her to Neurology as she had 1 seizure since i had her. I did take her and my other dog to the vet yesterday thinking that she was gonna get her 2nd distempe but they said they made a mistake and she has to come back next week. They did look at her mass. She goes to the vet next week to get her 2nd distemper shot. So I will be paying for the office visit that day as well as the distemper shot. Since I have gotten her currentl she has gotte her nails trimmed, Trazodone, Credelio, Interceptor (flea and tick prevention and heart worm pills 2 times), her Rabies, rabies city tag, DHPP, Lepto Vaccine, bordetella, heartworm test, fecal, microchip, blood work (for her seizures). She's still needs 2 distempers, office visits cost, to see Neurology, get the mass removed.
