Six years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. From that moment on, my life became focused on one goal: beating cancer.
My treatment journey included eight rounds of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy with lymph node removal, 28 rounds of radiation, and ongoing hormone therapy. On my 41st birthday in October 2020, I received the news I had been hoping and fighting for—I was cancer-free.
Every day since then, I have been grateful for the chance to keep living my life. While I overcame cancer, some of the lasting effects of treatment continue to impact me. Chemotherapy can be extremely hard on teeth, and since completing treatment, I have lost six teeth and now require extensive dental work to restore my oral health.
Unfortunately, even with dental insurance, only a small portion of the costs are covered, leaving me with expenses that are difficult to manage on my own. Asking for help is not easy, but I am reaching out in the hope that friends, family, and kind supporters can help me move forward with the care I need. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference, and I am deeply grateful for your support.
