About this fundraiser

From Jess-

“I have Lymphoma, specifically Stage 4 Hodgkin Lymphoma. It has been a very intense, whirlwind of a month, full of emotions. But truthfully, right now, I really am okay. Despite the fatigue, despite the pain….”I am so grateful for my partner, my family, my friends, my community, and of course, my kitties. It’s because of all of you, I know that I will get through this. One day at a time”

We share this fundraiser in hopes to help provide aid and stability to Jess and her family as they navigate her diagnosis and treatment plan for the next several months. We are thankful that the lymphoma she has is considered highly treatable and curable. She is expecting 6 months of chemotherapy along with immunotherapy.

The reality of this journey is that there will be tough days, it may feel long, and emotionally and physically tolling. Therefore, as a community, we are asking to help relieve some of the stress that comes with this tough journey ahead and allow Jess to focus her energy on healing and continuing recovery after, we are starting this fundraiser with a goal of $10,000.

Know your contributions will help towards the essential care, housing and support she needs to navigate this time. These funds will go towards creating a sense of ease, comfort, and help to establish a sense of normalcy along the way.

Any contribution, no matter how large or small, will directly allow us to support Jess and her family during this time. If you are unable to donate, you can still make an impact by sharing this link on your socials, sending a message of positivity and encouragement, or some good memes for laughs!

Though this recent diagnosis has rocked Jess and her families life, she’s not lost her talent for finding the dark humor, enthusiasm, happiness, and connection. Thank you so so so much for your outpouring love, kindness, and encouragement as we support her on her health journey!
