I was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer in 07/22; opted for bilateral mastectomy.  In November of 2022 the love of my life was diagnosed with incurable, inoperable Pancreatic Cancer.  We both had chemo and then I did radiation.  He passed on 6/24/23, which was our 18th wedding anniversary.  One of the last things he said to me was that he couldn’t make it our 20th but he could make it to our 18th and he did.  His last request of me was that my face Be the last thing he saw and that I not leave him. I made everything he wanted come true.  I have now had more than 12 surgeries on my right breast, which was irradiated.  I made the decision to remove the reconstruction with implant.  Unfortunately I am still not healed and there is talk of more surgery.  I have gone through most of my savings and maxing out insurance coverage.  I never thought I would be here.
