My long-time friend, Heather, has undergone surgery for tongue cancer. They had to remove half of her tongue and rebuild it with tissue from her thigh. She also had a tracheotomy and feeding tube. At this time,  she has no feeling in her tongue and eating is next to impossible. What she can eat is extremely limited and she has to use a suction device after she eats to make sure nothing is left behind, so as not to choke.  She's been through the wringer! She now faces a new feeding tube, chemo, and radiation therapy. Our hope is that we can raise money to help with medical and travel expenses. As you can imagine, this hasn't been an easy journey for Heather and her family, and the road to recovery is just beginning. Please answer our prayers and help in any way you can.
