About this fundraiser

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts, but with an unwavering hope for our 12-year-old son, Chance.

Recently, our world was turned upside down when Chance was hospitalized due to sudden kidney failure. Seeing your child fight a battle this big is a pain no parent should ever have to experience. Right now, our lives are completely split. My husband and I are trading shifts around the clock so that Chance is never alone. One of us is always by his hospital bedside, holding his hand and advocating for him, while the other is at home making sure his baby brother is loved, cared for, and kept safe.

Because our boys need us entirely right now, neither of us are able to work during this critical time. We are doing everything we can to keep our heads afloat, but in reality the financial strain is starting to weigh on our family. We want our sole focus to be on Chance's recovery and keeping life stable for his baby brother, but the bills and unexpected expenses are piling up. We are asking for your help to ease this burden.

If you are able to donate, no amount is too small and every single dollar will directly impact Chance's comfort and care. If you are not able to donate, we completely understand all we ask is for you to share this page and keep Chance, his baby brother and our family in your thoughts and prayers. Listed below is where 100% of donations would be going towards.

1.)  Medical Expenses: Medications, treatments, and any medical devices that Chance’s insurance may not fully cover

2.)Transportation: Cost of fuel and travel between the hospital and home to keep our family connected.

3.) Daily Necessities: Food for the family and hospital meals while we take turns staying by Chance's side.

4.) Basic Bills: Helping us keep our home running while we are unable to work.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, and support during the hardest trial of our lives

With Love and Gratitude.
