Steven has seen so many doctors. He's had so many test, scans and procedures and he never complained. Everyone on one the team says he is looking like he will be added to the transplant list. We will know more Thursday when the team meets and discuss where to go from here. Please continue praying I feel it is helping us get through this stressful time. Thank you for rays, donations and sharing.

About this fundraiser

Steven was born with Alpha 1 Antitrypsin Deficiency.  It causes liver and lung failure.  He also has Aspburger Syndrome.  He had worked since he was 17. Even with his disability he has always tried to work,  however,  In June he became so ill he was unable to work anymore.  We are trying to get SSI,  however that is taking so long and he has had no income since early July. He is currently on medicaid but he owns a home that he and I live in as well as a jeep. I too am in kidney failure and congestive heart failure so am not able to do muc to help financiall .  We are currently trying to sell the jeep and anything else we can. He will have to stay at Cleveland Clinic for several weeks and I want  to be there to help explain medical procedures and things to him. The money will cover the cost of getting to Cleveland Clinic,  expenses  and medical expenses that are not covered.  Daily I watch him endure painful stomach taps as well as other painful testing.  It is hard to watch your child dying in front of your eyes.  I ask please give what you can. God bless anyone reading this post.  We are still looking for donors to volunteer.  If you are A- and wish to be tested please contact me.

10/13/23 Steven has undergone many test and procedures.  Now it is up to the transplant team on 10/18 to determine if it is “go time ” for a transplant.  Thank you to all that have shared our story ❤️
