Hello everyone. We are seeking donations to go toward my mother, Patricia Bennion’s (Compton) medical and living expenses as she battles terrible lung issues that keep her on oxygen 24hrs a day. Though she has been dealing with these issues for many months, she has been in the ICU at Princeton Community Hospital since 4/17/26. They are planning to transfer her to WVU or Roanoke to see a specialist there.

The doctors suspect that she may have Interstitial Lung Disease. We hope to know more after she is transferred.

She is also battling kidney disease which causes her legs to swell and retain water. This not only causes her a great deal of pain, but exacerbates her breathing issues even more.

My dad is staying with her 24hrs a day and has used up all of his PTO taking care of her. He will not receive a pay check until he is able to go back to work, and we are not sure when that will be. We are asking for donations to go toward hotel costs, food, medical expenses, and bills.

My mother has the biggest heart of anyone I know and helps anyone and everyone she can; so I would like to help her as much as possible so that she does not need to worry about being able to afford these necessities while she navigates this scary and trying time.
