I’m a mama of five, and right now my family is facing a situation that I never expected to be in. My vehicle’s transmission went out, leaving me without reliable transportation and making it extremely difficult to keep up with work and everyday responsibilities.

Without a vehicle, I haven’t been able to work like I normally would because I depend on transportation to get back and forth. Being unable to work also makes it even harder to save enough money to replace my vehicle or cover the cost of repairs.

Having reliable transportation is about so much more than just getting from one place to another. I need to be able to get my children to their appointments, including my 5-month-old’s doctors appointments, get groceries, run necessary errands, and handle the everyday things that come with raising five children. I want to be able to get back to work, provide for my family, and have the independence to take care of my kids without constantly worrying about how we’re going to get somewhere.

I’m asking for help raising money toward a reliable vehicle that will allow me to get my family back on the road and get back to working.
