I never thought I would reach a point in my life where I would have to ask for help, but today I’m humbly reaching out because my family is struggling to make it through one of the hardest times we’ve ever faced.
I am 60 years old, and my 80-year-old mother lives with me and depends on me daily. Right now, the pressure of trying to keep our home, pay our bills, and care for her has become over whelming. She is experiencing dementia, which makes leaving her by herself hard for me. My job of 26 years is no longer covering our expenses, it got us this far. Now, financial hardships and mounting expenses pushed me nearly $17,000 into loan debt, and we are now facing the frightening possibility of eviction. Being behind on my car payment is especially terrifying, as that car is my livelihood for my courier work—without it, I lose my ability to work and earn money.
I’ve done everything I can to avoid asking others for help. I recently took on a second job working from 4 PM to 9 PM, and after that, I go straight to my courier job from 11 PM until 4 AM, six days a week. Most days, I’m running on very little sleep, trying to hold everything together while carrying the responsibility of caring for my elderly mother and keeping a roof over our heads.
Despite working these long hours, it has still not been enough to catch up with overdue rent, utilities, groceries, transportation costs, and other essential bills. The emotional and physical exhaustion has been difficult, but giving up is not an option when someone you love depends on you.
This fundraiser is not about comfort or luxury. It’s about survival, stability, and keeping a roof over our heads. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward keeping us housed, paying urgent bills, and helping us regain some financial stability while I continue working to rebuild.

If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this fundraiser would help tremendously. Your kindness, compassion, and support during this difficult time are deeply appreciated.
Your support would give us peace of mind, and start rebuilding our financial future. It would lift the weight off my shoulders that I’ve been caring for months.
