Many of us know Lauren through her unwavering dedication to our community and her deep compassion for both people and animals. Service has always been at the heart of who Lauren is. Whether advocating for animal welfare, helping establish the Saipan Humane Society, or pursuing her dream of becoming a veterinarian for the CNMI, Lauren has devoted countless hours to making a difference in the lives of others.

When our islands faced challenges in the aftermath of Super Typhoon Sinlaku, Lauren stepped forward to help raise awareness, support relief efforts, and connect resources to those in need. Time and time again, she has shown up for our community with kindness, generosity, and a willingness to help wherever she is needed.

Alongside Lauren is her husband, Dr. Felix Cabrera, a devoted husband and father, dedicated healthcare provider, and proud son of the Mariana Islands. Through his work as a physician, Felix has cared for countless members of our community, offering healing, comfort, and hope to patients and families during some of their most vulnerable moments. His commitment to serving others has touched many lives throughout our islands.

Today, they find themselves facing a journey of their own as they travel to Boston for Felix's cancer treatment. As Lauren and Felix begin this chapter, our hope is that they feel surrounded by the same kindness, love, and support they have so generously shared with others throughout the years.
