At near-end February 2026, I had a surgical procedure with removing two toes (diabetic), and later found out afterwards, unexpected issues involving my PSA, which involved catheter wear/maintenance, ever since (Feb. 27th 2026 ). We're now about to attend a biopsy, scheduled to see if any cancerous cells exist (tomorrow, June 9).

Hopefully, I'll return home without a catheter. There's a chance biopsy results will reveal no need of any further treatment. But, there are no promises. We already owe a little over $4,000 that my insurance won't be covering, regarding the care I've received thus far. And there's uncertainty if surgery/procedure will be needed after the biopsy report; I will not know until possibly in a couple of weeks. I will also need to continue to go to wound-care (foot/missing toes) every week until my foot completely heals, get continuous blood tests, etc. for diabetic/PSA afterwards... 

Not to mention, there has also been diagnostic thru scans that a blockage has been spotted in my other leg. Which, at this time, will not be treated until after the procedure mentioned above. And uncertain of what procedure/surgery it will involve. Another expense...

So, we are asking all our friends, family, and compassionate strangers to please help us with the financial burden that has come upon us at this time. In addition to costs (now and future) of the medical care itself, I have also been unable to work since my surgery in February; and possibly won't be able to return to work until my foot is, not only completely healed, but physical therapy completed as well in the near future. As we all know, bills and rent still have to be paid. My wonderful wife, Jan, is not able to work due to being visually impaired, but does her best with taking care of me in the home. We are in great need at this time, and we know that through God, we are blessed with a great community of friends and family.
