My elderly friend here in Carlsbad, NM is on disability and has been struggling for years without proper heating and cooling. Right now she only has a small space heater and one window AC unit, which is becoming very difficult and unsafe with the extreme New Mexico weather.

We are trying to raise funds to help purchase and install a mini split system so she can finally have reliable heating and air conditioning year-round. A mini split would provide safer, more efficient cooling in the summer and heating during the winter while helping lower electricity costs.

She lives alone and does the best she can on a very limited fixed income, but this is something she simply cannot afford on her own. Every donation, share, or kind word truly means so much and brings us one step closer to helping her live safely and comfortably.
