Five Stones Turned was born from my own journey through addiction, loss, and long-term recovery. There was a time when I had lost almost everything, from homelessness and time with my family. I wasn’t sure I would ever find purpose again. Recovery gave me a second chance, and today my greatest passion is helping others believe they can have one too.

What started with a recovery hobby of polishing rocks into shining stones 6 years ago has become something much bigger today. Every stone is a reminder that, no matter how broken, forgotten, or weathered we may feel, we still have the ability to be refined and shine. 
 

For the past four years, I have had the privilege of professionally mentoring and supporting individuals on their recovery journeys. Through my work in alumni services, peer support, and recovery coaching, I have connected with and encouraged more than 2,000 people as they navigated addiction, mental health challenges, and life’s obstacles. My passion is helping others rediscover hope, purpose, and the belief that lasting transformation is possible. Every conversation, every connection, and every life touched has strengthened my commitment to creating communities where no one has to walk their journey alone.

My vision is to build Five Stones Turned into a place where people can rediscover hope, purpose, and community after life’s hardest seasons. I want to provide recovery coaching, peer support, creative workshops, encouragement, and meaningful connections for individuals rebuilding their lives after addiction, trauma, incarceration, homelessness, or other life challenges.

The funds raised will help launch and grow this mission by supporting:

• Coaching and peer recovery resources
• Community outreach and recovery events
• Warrior Rocks and Prosperity Tree projects that spread hope
• Educational materials and workshop development
• Website, marketing, and technology needed to reach those seeking help
• Startup costs to build a sustainable organization that serves others for years to come

This isn’t about building a business for myself, it’s about building a mission that can outlive me. My dream is to create a community where people who have been overlooked, judged, or forgotten can discover that their story isn’t over. Just as a rough rock can become a beautiful stone through time and care, I believe every person has value and the ability to become something greater than their past.
