It is not easy to ask for help from strangers. Yet, at some point in time, every one may need a helping hand with something. For the past nearly (2) years, I have been struggling to survive due to an unexpected job loss precipitated by the current Administration. Today is July 8, 2026 and my last day of work was February 27, 2025 a mere (30) days after securing my dream job with the Federal Government. Since that time and despite my best efforts, I have been unsuccessful in obtaining (new) employment. As a result, things continue to deteriorate as I live daily with uncertainty. Setting my own personal needs aside, my sweet fur baby is now (3) months without necessary Vet Care including prescription food to assist in weight loss gained from a spay and heartworm treatment she caught shortly after I adopted her in October 2022. I love my beautiful fur baby Hope as she is my constant companion in these extremely difficult and trying times. If there is anyone who can bestow a bit of kindness upon us, Hope and I will be forever grateful. Having no adequate funds at the moment, I am unable to schedule an appointment to begin receiving the care she needs. Of course my primary concern is the lack of heartworm preventative as this depleted in March and her prescription food is also nearly depleted.
