Hi, my name is Angela, and I never imagined I'd be asking for help or we’d be were we are. Like so many families, we've always tried to handle life's challenges on our own, but after years of medical emergencies and financial strain, we've reached a point where we need help.

My husband and I are raising eight amazing children—six biological children and two bonus children. Our family is filled with love, but it also comes with extraordinary medical challenges.

Four of our children have Williams syndrome, one has Sturge-Weber syndrome, and several were born with congenital heart conditions. In May 2024, two of our children underwent emergency open-heart surgeries at the same time. While we are incredibly thankful they survived, the emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming.

Between hospital stays, specialist appointments, surgeries, travel, medications, and time away from work, we've accumulated $52,190.86 in debt.

Approximately $20,000 is medical debt, with the remaining balance made up of loans and credit card debt we relied on simply to keep our family afloat while caring for our children.

Because of our children's complex medical needs, I stay home to coordinate appointments, therapies, hospital stays, and daily care. My husband works incredibly hard, often taking overtime just to keep us going, which means sacrificing precious time with our family.

Our dream isn't a lavish one.

We simply want to become debt-free so my husband doesn't have to work so many extra hours, our family can breathe again, and we can begin saving for our very first home.
