Help Us Give Back to Carrie

If you know Carrie Belden, you know that she is usually the one giving—not the one receiving.

Carrie is the kind of person who shows up for everyone. She owns a salon, spends long days on her feet caring for her clients, and has always found ways to help others. She has been the hands and feet of Jesus to so many people, often without ever expecting anything in return.

Now, Carrie is facing a battle of her own.

Carrie was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and has undergone a double mastectomy. She is now going through chemotherapy, followed by radiation. As you can imagine, the treatments are taking a tremendous toll on her body. She has been dealing with nausea and extreme fatigue, yet she continues trying to work—even after chemo—because that’s simply who Carrie is.

We are raising money to help Carrie and her family with the expenses that insurance doesn’t cover and, just as importantly, to give Carrie the freedom to listen to her body during treatment.

We know Carrie may be uncomfortable with this. But sometimes God asks us to be humble enough to receive the same love we’ve spent our lives giving to others.

So we’re asking Carrie’s village to surround her now.
