Mike was injured during training, causing a dissection in his vertebral artery. This has put him a great risk for a stroke. This caused numbness/coldness in one arm, vertigo, confusion, headaches, and a temporary loss of peripheral vison. After a 3 day stay in the ER, he is finally home.  He will have to be closely monitored for several months until he can heal from this. He faces many more CT Scans and visits to a specialist. He and his wife are coaches at their jiu jitsu school in Riverside, CA. Right now, he's unable to drive, train, teach, and live the active lifestyle he is so passionate about. He has always been the first to help.
