I'm writing this on behalf of our beloved Fred (or some of you may know him as Bread). During Burning Man 2026, Bread had an unfortunate accident involving an e-bike incident out of his control. 

The ebike handle bars malfunctioned, Bread was knocked unconscious for over 10-15 minutes, and was thankfully rescued shortly after by emergency services. 

Unfortunately, the fall broke Bread's right clavicle (collar bone), fractured some of his right cheek bone, and left some unforeseen challenges for him to overcome. 

Fred has always led from the heart, given 110% of his energy, body, and spirit to ensuring his community is well cared for, and I would love the opportunity to show him 100x the love he is so appreciated for. 

Fred is going to be unable to work for the next 2 months while he heals, and it would be an immense help to support his healing journey so he doesn't have to worry about medical expenses, food, rent, and other responsibilities while he heals and gets back on his feet.
