Hi everyone, I am reaching out today because I am facing a medical emergency that threatens to completely take away my independence and my vision. Recently, I was diagnosed with a very rapid and aggressive form of cataracts. The impact has been sudden and devastating: I have already completely lost the sight in my right eye. Unfortunately, my left eye is rapidly heading down the same path. Doctors have told me that without surgery, I will completely lose my sight in both eyes within the next few months. 


Because of the aggressive nature of the cataracts, the medical team has scheduled me for surgery very quickly. My first surgery is scheduled for July 7, 2026, and the second is scheduled for July 21, 2026. As someone living on a fixed income, navigating other health challenges, and managing everyday medical costs, I simply do not have the extra funds to cover the out-of-pocket costs for these procedures. 


I want nothing more than to regain my vision, stay independent, and continue living my life without the fear of going completely blind. Every single dollar raised will go directly toward paying for these two surgeries to restore my right eye and save my left eye.
