I have a student whose family is in a dire situation.  Each day she arrives at school, disheveled and embarassed because she lacks hair products to maintain her hair.  Her clothing is often dirty/soiled because she does not have the money and means to wash them, and she usually wears one of three outfits because that is all that she has,.  To make matters worse, she is always hungry because her family is experiencing food insecurity.  The school year is about to end, and her situation is beyond desperate.  Before she leaves next week [week of June 8th] for summer break, I want to make sure that she has clothing, toiletries and that her family has food at least for a couple of weeks because she resides with her mom and several siblings.  Please help if you can and spread the word to others who might be willing to help.  Your help will be greatly appreciated.
