I started life late, was all about work managed my diabetes as best I could for 30 years an than the twist to the story.  Found out I am polycystic, a genetic kidney disorder.  The love story part, i met the love of my life in my 50s I will fight to give her as many years as the power of love can give me. Now my plan is to use any funds I get to get to and from dialysis, attend Doctors appointments,, and pay for transplant an pay for anti rejection drugs after any left over will be donated to Porter hospital transplant clinic to pay it forward. James Blunts song, "Monster" was about his dad's fight with End Stage Kidney disease.  I am in that same fight and used that song to explain to my child what was going on with me.
