About this fundraiser

Harmon is a resilient and passionate 22-year-old who has recently faced an overwhelming series of health challenges.  Harmon Weaver is originally from Malta, Ohio, and moved to Corryton, Tennessee (Knox County), in junior high.  Diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in March, he has since endured multiple hospitalizations, in-home infusions, and relentless symptoms—including hourly vomiting, severe bleeding, significant weight loss, joint pain, and painful mouth and throat blisters that make eating and drinking nearly impossible. In addition to Crohn’s, Harmon battles Periodic Paralysis, seizure disorder, and Tourette’s, conditions that have robbed him of his ability to work as a chef and pursue his love of concert photography—a creative outlet that brought joy to him and thousands of Instagram followers on social media. Despite receiving job offers, he’s too weak and exhausted to work, and recent insurance changes and a denied disability claim have left him unable to pay his bills. Many friends and followers have reached out asking how to help. This fundraiser is our way of surrounding Harmon with the support he deserves and easing some of his financial burden. We’re hopeful that the right treatment will be found soon. Until then, please consider donating to help Harmon through this difficult time. Every contribution makes a difference. #Ripaphro
