I never imagined I’d be asking strangers for help, but here I am.

My family has been through an abusive situation with someone who deliberately caused serious financial damage and tried to bankrupt me and take everything I’d worked for.

He tried to break us. He didn’t win.

I’m working again and doing everything I can to rebuild our lives. I’m currently able to remain in our home temporarily while the bankruptcy process is being worked out, but this isn’t a safe or sustainable long-term situation. For our safety, we need to get out as soon as possible.

My daughter struggles emotionally, and her two cats are her emotional-support animals. They aren’t just pets. They’re family. One of them in particular has been an incredible source of comfort for her and has helped keep her going through some very difficult moments.

I’m trying to get us into stable housing, catch up on essential utilities, cover the costs of moving, and keep the transportation and necessities I need to continue working while we rebuild.

The situation has become even more urgent. I’m currently facing eviction, and my electric and water are also at risk of being shut off. I need to get my family somewhere safe as soon as possible while keeping enough stability to continue working and rebuilding our lives

I’m not looking for someone to take care of us forever. I’m working, I’m rebuilding, and I’m determined to get my family somewhere safe and give us a fresh start.
