I need to get a root canal and a crowning done. It shouldn’t be THAT expensive right? I’ve tried to get the procedure done twice, but I have intense anxiety and trauma so despite taking medication to help me relax the dentist wasn’t able to complete the procedure either time since i couldn’t calm down enough for it to be done safely.

I was referred to a dentist who can do the operation while under sedation, but this nearly triples the cost and we are paying out of pocket. I don't have dental insurance, but the dental office is out of network anyway. I wish I could push through and get it done without sedation, but my mind and body physically can’t handle it.

These procedures should help prevent future tooth pain. I’ve experienced a lot of VERY intense teeth pain in the last year and have already had several teeth removed (also under sedation). Unfortunately, it was the “affordable” option, but i only have so many teeth and can’t have any more removed.
