A year ago, my Husband lost his job due to personal reasons and has struggled to find work ever since.  He is a hard worker and has worked since he was 14, so not being able to work is driving him coo coo.  Things became even more difficult when both of our vehicles broke down right after the job loss, leaving us without any transportation. Last November our gas was shut off and is now in collections.Just 3 weeks ago our electric was also shut off because the bill grew too high and we fell too far behind. We've reached out to our community help programs, but they require us to pay most of the amount before they can assist.  We live outside the city and it has been a struggle the entire way around.  From going to town just for Ice to help in make shift A/C to small jobs here in there to even put food in our home has proven to be difficult since the loss of job.  The amount of time running back and forth takes the entire day up and all resources are used within hours.  By the time anything is made it has already went back out to feeding and cooling our daughters room.  

Our 21 year old Daughter lives with us and has been getting bad headaches from the heat, which is especially scary because she has a psuedotumor in her brain.  The heat and added stress to her do not help anything at all and we fear more neuro issues and are doing our best to get this handled, but are truly struggling.  The world came to an upbrupt stop and sudden change a year ago and we have struggled ever since.  Anything received will go directly to paying the electric bill, and help getting us back on our feet.  We have reached out to many local charities for the last month and funds are low everywhere.  We continue to keep hope and we are both looking for jobs and have been, but transportation has also been an issue as mentioned previously.  However, if we can tackle this big electric issue and protect our sanity along with our daughter's health easier it will help allow us to breath for a bit, while we collect our thoughts and create a plan of attack for the rest.  

As a mother a devouted wife I am struggling with not only my own worth, but the faith I have and continue to maintain.  We aren't asking for a handout, just a hand up to get on our feet.  We are doing our best, but fear more medical issues and bills that will completely sink us.  We are barely hanging on and want to say thank you for just taking the time to read this.  If nothing else please keep us in your prayers and thoughts.  Things can only go up from here we just need help with that first step.  Thank you all and God Bless.
