October 13th is Maxx's 4th birthday!

And this year, instead of asking everyone to figure out what to buy him, I'm creating something a little different.

I'm inviting our family, friends, and anyone who would like to be part of his special day to help us build his birthday wish list, one piece at a time. 🎁🎈

For the past two years, we've had to keep Maxx's birthdays very simple. This year, I really wanted to give him something different. Not necessarily something huge or extravagant, but a birthday that feels like his day.

Maxx is an incredibly special little boy. He has autism and experiences the world in his own unique way. He has a wonderfully busy brain, a huge curiosity for the things he loves, and so many little interests that make him completely himself.

He loves numbers, letters, music, learning, his favorite shows, sensory things, and discovering things in his own little way. Watching him get excited about something he loves is one of my favorite things in the world.

As his mom, I have a lot of responsibilities and expenses right now, and unfortunately, there isn't much room left over for a birthday celebration. I could simply skip the party again, but I don't want to.

I want to make this birthday a memory. 💙

So instead of asking people to just give money, I'm hoping people will help us create his birthday.
