About this fundraiser

My Name Is Keshawn White, And I’m A Single Mother Of Two Living On Fenske Ln In Louisville. I Work The Night Shift As A Healthcare Assistant, And My Older Sedan Is The Only Lifeline I Have To Get To The Hospital And Drop My Kids Off At Daycare. Two Nights Ago, Someone Vandalized Our Neighborhood, Smashing My Car's Side Mirror And Catalytic Converter. When I Tried To Move It, The Transmission Completely Locked Up From Structural Damage. The Repair Cost Is $4,200, Which Feels Like A Million Dollars Right Now. My Auto Insurance Has A High Deductible That Doesn't Cover Commercial Vandalism Parts For Older Models. Without My Car, I Am Missing My Shifts And Risking My Job Entirely. I’m Swallowing My Pride And Asking For A Hand Up To Help Cover The Garage Repair Bill So I Can Keep Working And Keeping My Kids Safe. Every Dollar Keeps Us Moving Forward.
