On September 21, 2026, our family lost Michelle Renee Walls Jaime after a courageous six-year battle with cancer. She was only 56 years old.

For those who knew Michelle, it is difficult to put into words what this loss means to her family. Michelle was a devoted wife to her husband, Johnny, and the heart of her three children’s lives: Johnny, Loreal, and Bailey.

Her children were her world. They were more than her children, they were her best friends. Michelle was their safe place, the person they could call about anything, the person who would tell them the truth, make them laugh, listen without judgment, and love them through absolutely everything.

For six years, Michelle and her family lived through the realities of cancer. There were treatments, appointments, medical expenses, and eventually hospice and end-of-life care. Throughout it all, her husband and children remained by her side.

Now, while they are grieving the loss of her, they are also facing the financial responsibilities left behind by years of medical care and the expenses that come with laying someone you love to rest.

We created this fundraiser to help ease some of that burden for Johnny and their children. Funds raised will help the family with Michelle’s remaining medical expenses, funeral and memorial costs, end-of-life expenses, and other immediate financial needs related to her passing. Our hope is to give the family some breathing room so they can focus on grieving, being together, and honoring Michelle without carrying the full weight of these expenses at the same time. 

Michelle spent her life taking care of the people she loved. We want to be able to give it back to her.
