About this fundraiser

Over the past year, I have had the privilege of integrating plants and animals from my South Jersey farm into my classroom at Newark High School in Newark, Delaware. Although our school does not currently offer a formal agricultural science curriculum, these Friday sessions have become a highlight for my students, fostering a unique and enthusiastic engagement with the natural world.

I am now seeking to formalize and expand this initiative. My goal is to secure funding for the professional-grade coops, enclosures, and equipment necessary to establish a permanent on-site presence for these animals. By investing in this infrastructure, we are doing more than just housing animals; we are planting the seeds for a comprehensive future agricultural science program that will provide our students with hands-on vocational and scientific experiences.

Your support will help transform this passion project into a lasting educational legacy for our school community. Thank you!
