About this fundraiser

Please Help Rachele & Alex

If you’ve ever wondered whether one family can face too much at once, we’re living that reality right now.

My name is Rachele, and I’m a single mom doing everything I can to keep moving forward for my son, Alex.

Alex has a rare IGF1R-related genetic condition that affects his growth and development. He faces challenges every day, but he continues to amaze me with his strength, intelligence, and determination.

At the same time, I have been fighting breast cancer, which has led to multiple surgeries and a double mastectomy. More recently, I suffered a devastating arm injury where multiple tendons were severed, requiring surgery and a long recovery. These medical challenges have made it difficult to work and provide for us the way I always have.

Our bills haven’t stopped. We’re struggling to keep up with everyday expenses like our home, utilities, groceries, medical costs, and transportation while I recover and continue treatment.

I never imagined I would be writing something like this.

My doctors have told me that I may only have months… or perhaps a year. No one can tell me exactly how much time I have, but what I do know is that my life changed almost overnight.

I have spent my life working. I never expected to ask for help. I believed that if I worked hard enough, I could always provide for my family. I was diagnosed with cancer in 2022. But another disease snuck up on me I thought I would have more time, but I don’t please help my family

Asking for help is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but today I’m asking for my son.

If you’re able to donate, no matter how small the amount, it will help us get through this incredibly difficult season. If you can’t give financially, sharing our story would mean the world to us.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for keeping our little family in your thoughts and prayers. Every act of kindness reminds us that we are not fighting this battle alone.

With love and gratitude,

Rachele & Alex ❤️
