I am in need of help to exit an abusive, toxic relationship. It's no longer tenable to attempt to stay in this relationship. My abusive fiancée keeps attacking me (sometimes with weapons such as knives), threatening my life, stealing or breaking personal belongings, and generally causing deep emotional trauma. It has been bad for a while, a few nights ago it reached a breaking point.

I recently moved to South Carolina, where my now ex-fiancée's family lives. Unfortunately, I had to emptied my savings to support the move and I do not have enough cash flow to pay for an apartment. Even if that was an option, this is a place where I don’t know anyone besides my ex’s family, whom cannot be relied on to help this situation. It doesn't seem like a good idea to stay in this town given the circumstances. I also don’t have a car, which complicates currently available options. I have a part time job, but with the lack of savings available it's not enough to cover the thousands, a little over $8k, needed to set up in a new town/city and get a car (if there is no decent public transportation). I’m currently relying on work and safe harbor services for shelter. Please consider donating anything you can to help out. I am truly thankful for any help I can get.
