Medical Assistance Request

I am currently facing a serious medical condition involving a deformity or obstruction in my right kidney near the ureter. My doctors have determined that surgery is necessary to prevent further complications and ongoing severe pain.

The planned procedure is an attempt to remove the affected portion of the kidney and reconstruct the remaining healthy tissue. However, if surgeons determine during the operation that reconstruction is not possible, they may need to remove my entire right kidney.

Despite the medical necessity of this surgery, my insurance provider has denied coverage, and I am currently pursuing the appeals process. In the meantime, my condition continues to worsen. I have already required emergency room treatment due to debilitating pain, and delaying care increases the risk of further complications.
