À propos de cette collecte de fonds

My name is Renee E. Veselka. I am 48 years old, happily married, and a proud mother of two wonderful sons. I never imagined that a workplace accident would turn my life and my family's lives upside down, but that is exactly what happened in December 2025.

I suffered a serious fall caused by a problem at my workplace, leaving me with a severe concussion, a herniated disc, and a frozen shoulder. My head injury was especially serious, and I have also experienced seizures since the injury. At one point, I sustained a head wound that required six stitches. These complications have added even more challenges to an already difficult recovery.

Since the accident, I have been unable to return to work. I have undergone numerous types of therapy and am still participating in work conditioning therapy in hopes of regaining my strength and ability to function. The concussion has also left me struggling with vertigo, which affects my daily life and makes even ordinary activities more difficult.

In June, I underwent shoulder surgery. I was told that recovery could take up to a year, and I am still working through the long and difficult healing process. My next medical evaluation is scheduled for November, when my doctors will assess my progress and my ability to return to work. Depending on the outcome, I may need to pursue partial or permanent disability.

Along with the physical pain and uncertainty, the financial strain has become overwhelming. I have been without income since the end of August, and our family is facing a serious financial crisis. Trying to manage medical recovery, everyday household expenses, and the uncertainty of what the future holds has taken an emotional toll on me. I am currently receiving help for the anxiety and depression I have been experiencing as a result of these circumstances.

I have always wanted to be there for my family and do my part to provide for them. Being unable to work and not knowing when I will be able to return has been heartbreaking. My greatest hope is to focus on healing, continue my treatments, and eventually regain as much of my independence and quality of life as possible.

I am reaching out for help because my family and I cannot get through this difficult time alone. Any donation, no matter how small, would help us cover essential living expenses and ease some of the financial pressure while I continue my recovery. Your generosity would give me the opportunity to focus on getting better without the constant fear of how we will make ends meet.

If you are unable to donate, sharing my story with others would mean just as much to us. Every donation, share, prayer, and kind word is deeply appreciated.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering helping me and my family during this incredibly challenging chapter of our lives. Your kindness and support mean more than words can express.

With sincere gratitude,

Renee E. Veselka
