My name is Shondra Watkins and I live in Kentwood Louisiana and I’m truly running against time at this horrific moment of my life you ever felt like things not real but if I would not had experienced this I probably wouldn’t believe it myself. On August 8,2024 I loss my job with i&i after 13½ years of being with them so I was off 3months without work no one was hiring.so I took a job in Texas 8 hours from my home i had to take a pay cut because I was an electrician helper making 24.00 hrs. 50 hrs a week so my mortgage was 2,145.00 a month and I’m falling more behind trying to catch the payments. with paying for a room and my other bills so I worked that job a mont.then September 2025 I start a fireproofing job with brand 27.00 hr.supposed to have been 3months and ended in 6 weeks now at this point I’m stressing bad trying not to show this pain to my children.trying to keep it all together while falling apart. So at this point I’m freaking out crying,weak scared of loosing my home and I have a daughter in college and one at home. So the mortgage company calling me everyday driving me crazy I have no job money ran out because I’m paying it all out now I can’t buy food r nothing I’m loosing everything one by one so finally god blessed me with a job with perf contractors now as a labor 19.00 a hr 50 hrs a week checks 870.00 a week.November 18,2025 I got that job and filed bankruptcy Dec 4 2025, because they were trying to get me to vacate the premises I have no where to go at this point back was against the wall.so Dec 15,2025 they wanted the first note I didn’t have because I haven’t really made any money its holida time I only worked two weeks in Dec and was off 10 days for Christmas and came back jan6 2026.now another payment was approaching and I need to notes so that made it 4,290.00 I don’t have so I paid my first payment February 11,2026 because my bankruptcy lawyer filed an amendment February also to put them two payments in the bankruptcy so I’m now paying my payments on time and thinking everything was okay until they had themselves taking off my bankruptcy on May 4,2026 without me r my lawyer knowing and they had denied his amendment also without us knowing so when we found out it was to late. Now I’m fighting to save my home I’m now working in Memphis pay is good tried doing a loss mitigation form they denied me again for any help so I have 15,000 of the funds they want all the money they went from 25,000 to 34,000 now 37,000 I have to pay there lawyer legal fees they posted my house  in the local paper September 15,2026, and will be posting it again October 15,2026,and auc it off October 26,2026. I am a single mother who has been trying everything to save my home I have my first grand to be born November 23,2026 and I have my daughters at home while I try making money so we can keep our home and I don’t want to be on the streets with my children and grandson. After my mother death my brother had me evicted out my mother home and my children were little at the time but we slept in my car and I bathe them in an abandoned apartment in cold water in 2012. I have been through so much these past couple of years but its my faith in god that keeps me from giving up I want to be able to give my grandson a home because I can’t do anything else but pray that this situation changes but god does everything for a reason and I have to give this to him but if anyone that can help me please I really would appreciate it and this money will go straight to 21st mortgage in Tennessee I can’t say anything else but the truth may god bless you even if you can’t help the thought is still excepted in Jesus name thank you sincerely ShondraWatkins
